Home for the Holidays!

Finals are over and my dorm at Spring Hill College is completely empty of my belongings.  They are all now piled up in my closet begging me to sort through them.  I will eventually get to them…okay well maybe not until my mother forces me to sort through them, but I will deal with that when that moment arrives.

Less than thirty days from now, January 13, I will be departing from the Birmingham airport, to start my 4 month long adventure.  From Birmingham, I will fly to Chicago and meet my roommate for the Italy Center, Beka.  Then we will both fly overnight to Copenhagen, and then finally arrive in Bologna, Italy the evening of the 14th.  We will stay in a hotel near the school, and then the next morning we are allowed to move into our residence hall, Alma Mater.

I could continue on with our itinerary for the first few weeks, but I will just post as the actually events happen instead of guessing how they will turn out.  I have much to do before January 13th, like figuring out how to pack for FOUR MONTHS in at the most TWO SUITCASES.  I must learn how to pack light for these European travels.

Buonanotte!
